Dr. Darlene Berkovitz graduated from the University of Illinois. After completing a small animal internship, she moved to the mountains of Aspen, CO. Dr. Berkovitz moved to the Madison-area to be closer to family and purchased Citywide Pet Clinic in August 2019.
She has a lot of special interests including internal medicine, dentistry, behavior, geriatric/hospice care and all things cat. She is certified in veterinary acupuncture through the Chi Institute. When not working, Dr. Berkovitz spends her time chasing around her two young children with the help of a cattledog and tiny terrier-mix. Olivia

Olivia

Vet Assistant

Olivia graduated from Mount Mary University in May 2019 with a Master of Science in Art Therapy degree. During her research in the art therapy program, she discovered significant findings in regard to the human-animal bond and the positive effects animals have in the therapeutic healing process. Olivia has found her path to veterinary medicine in hopes of someday opening a practice that provides veterinary care and animal assisted art therapy services. She hopes to give back to the many animals that have helped their owners emotionally and unconditionally. In her free time, Olivia enjoys going for walks with her pomskies, Elvis and Willow, snuggling with her emotional support cat, Seamus, reading, drawing, and eating sushi!

Arielle

Receptionist/Vet Assistant in training

Arielle went to school for art at Madison College and  has been in the Madison area for about 9 years and joined our staff here at Citywide in 2019. She is in training to be a Vet Assistant here at Citywide Pet Clinic. She has always been passionate about animals and has an assortment of pets at home: cats Grog and Kaolin, two white’s tree frogs named Thing Eins and Thing Zwei, an African bullfrog named Prince, and a “foster” Cuban tree frog named Kirby. In her free time she is a ceramic artist making cute animal planters and decorative fungi. For fun she likes to play board games, read, make art, and sing karaoke.

"I’ve been taking my cats here for about ten years. Everyone that works here has always given my cats such great care, and they have been genuine and compassionate when it comes time to say goodbye to your pet. They are truly wonderful."
