Dr. Darlene Berkovitz

DVM

Dr. Darlene Berkovitz graduated from the University of Illinois. After completing a small animal internship, she moved to the mountains of Aspen, CO. Dr. Berkovitz moved to the Madison-area to be closer to family and purchased Citywide Pet Clinic in August 2019.
She has a lot of special interests including internal medicine, dentistry, behavior, geriatric/hospice care and all things cat. She is certified in veterinary acupuncture through the Chi Institute. When not working, Dr. Berkovitz spends her time chasing around her two young children with the help of a cattledog and tiny terrier-mix. Because life wasn’t hectic enough, she also recently adopted two kittens from Angel’s Wish. Dr. Berkovitz also loves to ski, exercise, read and eat chocolate chip cookies.

She now combines her love for literature, education, and animals as a writer for PetVet Magazine and instructor in Madison College’s Veterinary Technician program. Her favorite experiences as a veterinary professional have been traveling to rural Mexico to assist with low cost spay and neuter services and bottle-feeding orphan kittens for the Humane Society in Savannah, Georgia. Elycia is a Madison native and is happy to be involved in the animal care community here. She lives with her husband, one dog, and one cat.
Annie

Annie

Certified Veterinary Technician

Annie has been a certified veterinary technician since 2014. She has a passion for all animals, but especially dogs. She lives in Madison with her hound mix Ritz. Her dream would be to travel and volunteer to help dogs at different shelters. One of her favorite experiences was traveling to Mexico and volunteering for a low-cost spay and neuter program for dogs and cats. When she is not at the clinic, Annie has a passion for Muay Thai kickboxing and competes all over the midwest.

Cristie

"I’ve been taking my cats here for about ten years. Everyone that works here has always given my cats such great care, and they have been genuine and compassionate when it comes time to say goodbye to your pet. They are truly wonderful."
